Assuming I can get some pratice in at Re-belays beforehand, I would be more than a bit interested in North Henblas.

Gotta say they are fun rebelays and about as exposed as they get

So if there is a trip this year that would be great

As I understand it, it's a freehanging descent/ascent, which I prefer, which is what I assume you mean.

I think Ed's just means in relation to the 330' shaft (actually it's a 530' shaft, but flooded below about 390' and the landing platform is at 330').

All bar the 1st two rebelays are free-hanging, and most are in a waterfall 😉

Its freehanging insofar as the rope doesn't rub between the rebelay points but it is still against the side of the shaft. The rebelays are reasonably straightforward however its a very big shaft and you're a long way from help if you're not entirely confident in your abilities.

The height doesn't worry me, 33ft or 330ft, you're stuffed if you fall down either.
The waterfall part would certainly qualify for interesting though. Not sure if anyone is mad enough to attempt a photo of a rebelay under such conditions, but if they exist, could you point me in the right direction?

The bosun's chair is a lovely free hang; and has the advantage of no effort being required.

Quite a few to look forward to there! Thanks everybody :)

I guess we'll have to arrange a CRTT as well, plus there are the long weekends.

I'll have a scan through this Sunday night and see if I can make a list of out of it

Another one to add - a suggestion by Dave L, a full, as in dawn to dusk 😉 day mid-summer in Dinorwic. OK, it's mostly surface, but there are a few areas that almost nobody bothers with; and I'd nip up and rope up some of the dodgier ladders to less accessible areas.

Hmm ... I don't remember the dawn to dusk bit. How about a breakfast at Pete's and/or back there for an evening meal before they close?

Sweet one droid, see you at Rogers parlour some time soon I hope 😮
