The book is now with the printers and should be returned by the end of March.
Ian has organised a few book signings most with free guided walkes - see bellow. As the book is a rather large in size it could be a handy way to get a copy without paying for postage etc.
Cross Fell and Mines of the Cumbrian Pennines – Ian Tyler
To celebrate the launch of his new book on the mining and local history of the Cumbrian Pennines, which is his thirteenth on Cumbrian Mining, Ian Tyler is holding a series of short guided walks followed by book signing sessions, where there will be an opportunity to meet and chat with Ian etc.
All walks are free and are planned to start at 10.30 and last about 3 hours – booking is not required.

05-Apr-2014 – Hallbankgate – Meet at the “Belted Will Pub” 10.30pm with book signing at 1.30pm - 2.30pm at the Lacey Thompson Memorial Hall
06-Apr-2014 – Hartside – Meet at the Hartside Café 10.30pm with book signing at 1.30pm – 2.30pm at the Café.
09-Apr-2014 - Lanercost Priory Café – Book signing only 2.00pm - 3.00pm.
12-Apr-2014 – Murton - Meet at Murton Fell Car Park 10.30 with book signing at 1.30pm – 2-30pm at the Hilton Cum –Murton Hall.
