Drws Y Coed Copper Mine 17/06/2007
This trip formed a reccee for the DP August bash trip to DyC and was done instead of a planned Llanberis copper mine due to lack of people and drill.
Our intention was to descend the engine shaft situated approximately 150' above the valley floor to decide whether a group trip was worthwhile and/or whether additional anchors needed placing.
The shaft was found to not be as deep as expected, and therefore uncertain as to whether it is the engine shaft or not, however yeilded far more than expected in terms of exploration.
