Apedale Mine And Heritage Centre Visit

Visited and had a brill time... this is a must do. Mine guys are down to earth and welcoming, the mine itself is excellent. The heritage centre and narrow gauge railways are excellent and this has got to be rated as a superb day out for anyone interested in mining and industrial history. Interesting to note that No 7 drift is continuing well. Some very nice Cannel coal on site.
